How is Outwiths different from other job platforms?

At Outwiths, talents’ past projects are valued greatly and we want to help them get their skills in front of the employers. Our unique portfolio showcase feature benefits both talents and employers with its easy-to-use upload function and easy-to-read display layout. 

How do I remove or delete my video resume?

We’re still working on it! Currently, you can only replace it with a new video resume. Here’s some tips for taking a good resume:

  • Make sure you look professional.

  • Make sure the lighting is good and your voice can be heard clearly without any noise. 

  • Make sure the background looks clean or professional.

How do I connect with a talent or an employer?

After logging in, click Community at the top of the page and you'll get to meet other talents in Outwiths community. You can send them an email by clicking the Message button on their profile. Don't forget to introduce yourself and mention how you found them!

I have some suggestions for Outwiths. Where can I submit it to?

Can I change my account details such as name and password?

Yes. You can go to My Account at the top right corner after you log in and update your information. If you still face issues in editing information, send us an email at support@outwiths.com.


 

How do I set up an Employer account?

Thank you for your interest! Our Employer features are still work-in-progress. If you want to be the first to use it, express your interest here to get exclusive access to our skill-certified talents pool.


 

Is Outwiths compatible with mobile?

Yes. All Outwiths features can be used on mobile. However, we highly recommend you to update your profile using a desktop for better user experience. 


 

Will I need to download any software to use Outwiths?

No. You don’t need to download any software to use Outwiths on your desktop. You can just open the site through your preferred browser (Chrome, Safari etc). If you'de like to see an app version, feel free to drop us an email and we will invite you as a beta tester! 

Is Outwiths free?

Good news - it’s FREE for everyone! You can enjoy all features for free. Do you have friends who should showcase their impressive works on Outwiths? Invite them now!

Why do I need an Outwiths account?

As a talent, you are strongly encouraged to use this platform to improve your personal and professional branding by showcasing your achievements and project portfolio. Employers are always on the lookout for the best talents - let your past projects speak for you!

As an employer, you can discover the next star employee for your company from our skill-certified talents pool! With the portfolio showcase, 1-minute intro video and Applicant Tracking System (ATS) features, you are going to minimise your time spent on unqualified candidates. Talent search is more cost-effective with Outwiths.

I have a problem signing in. What should I do?

If you signed up with an email, use the email and password you’ve set to sign in. If you signed up with LinkedIn, you have to use LinkedIn to sign in the future. If you need further assistance, drop us a message


 

Is it possible to import the content from my LinkedIn profile? How do I do that?

Yes! Click the Menu icon at the top right corner and you will see a box to submit your LinkedIn link. Click here to learn how to get your LinkedIn profile URL. 


 

Can I use Outwiths to generate a resume?

This feature is not available yet. If you'd like to see this on our platform, drop us an email at support@outwiths.com.

On another note, we allow Talents to upload their resumes so Employer can download if needed. 

 

Who can see my Outwiths Profile?

Only Outwiths users and those who have your proflie URL (even if they don't have an Outwiths account) can see your profile. We strongly recommend you to attach the URL in your resume or job applications so the potential employers can know more about your skill sets!


 

Can I add or remove skills, files or achievements on my profile?

Yes. You can add and remove info on your profile and the changes will be reflected immediately. We recommend talents to update your Outwiths profile regularly to help employers understand your skill sets and increase your chance of getting hired! Note that skills are connected with projects that were created.


 

What can I upload onto my Outwiths Profile?

Our platform allows you to express as much creative juices to enhance your personal branding! You are encouraged to upload a video of self-introduction, files of photos of your achievements and your certificates. We cater to a wide range of file formats including .mov, .avi, .mp4, .jpeg, .gif, .png., doc., ppt., and pdf. You can also easily customize your profile!
